KDE Contribution Day in Toulouse
Each month, in Toulouse we organize KDE contribution day. That’s allows KDE contributors around Toulouse to meet other contributors (developer, translator…)
And next Saturday (27th November) there is the monthly meeting, with a Anne-Marie Mahfouf presentating about KDE bugsquad.
Anne-Marie Mahfouf has been contributing to KDE for many years. She is the KDE-Edu module coordinator, she is involved in translation and in documenting KDE applications. She is the maintainer of a few applications ranging from KDE-Edu applications to KAppTemplate (allowing new developers to easily start developing with pre-made templates) and to Plasma with the Picture Frame applet.
Saturday’s talk will introduce you to KDE efforts in making bug reports, triaging and fixing bugs. The web interface http://bugs.kde.org will be presented as well as the crash dialog which is included in KDE and nicely pops up after every crash!
How to write a good bug report, how to find duplicates, to attach a patch, …
Feel free to ask any question and maybe you too will be able to contribute to KDE bugsquad!
