As most of time, every thing is in the title. Calligra Stage needs hands.

You surely know that KOffice has split and KPresenter has migrated to git and been renamed into Calligra Stage. So we need hands to help Stage to become better than it is. Yes, I know, you think “It’s already awesome!” and you are right. Nevertheless plenty of things reminds to be done. We can categories it because it goes from the simplest to the hardest implementation, from features add to bug fix.

I am here talking to developers that want to work on an awesome software, with interesting people and really reactive community, you have found the Calligra community. If you like to hack on KDE/Qt app, we’ll find you something amazing to do. The design and the architecture of the source code are really good, we can do great things with it. Come and show us that you’ve got.

    I think, the great way to deliver the same message is to make a presentation in Calligra Stage which would be called… “Stage Needs Hands”. And explain everything there with emotions, passions, in more detail :)

    I’m ready for that but i don’t know what you want. Can you explain me exactly what you needs and i’m really ready for doing little thing in calligra ;) (i’m just familiar with qt and c++)

    @andrez, yes sure, all the way to help are interesting, and I agree with your great idea :) If you need help (things to put on it, maybe interesting features or so…) just ask (look at the end to contact me) :-)

    @Kusa, @Paul, I like to hear that, and you are doing the right choice :D

    There are several things to do, but nice things to begin could bug fixes, and improvement on the slides sorter. We are also working on the outline mode, which is a necessary feature, but a bit hard to implement, according to Zagge, the Stage maintainer. We also have a set of tasks to do to have an end user Stage, and a return of user of things that could help to work better and easily with Stage.

    The better I can do to help you beginning to hack on our app is to go on #Calligra on freenode, IRC, to use the wiki: http://community.kde.org/Calligra... especially the Yellow ” How to build Calligra – For developers” part.

    Great, I will follow your advice. I compile calligra suite and I wonder where I can found bugs or junior jobs related with stages, I only found for words and tables.
